UP approves 69.52-acre Robotics and AI Park in Greater Noida
The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet on 27 October 2026 approved a 69.52-acre Robotics and AI Park in Greater Noida, which the state expects to create over 1 lakh jobs and about ₹2,000 crore in yearly economic value.

Greater Noida could become Uttar Pradesh's next big tech hub. On 27 October 2026, the Uttar Pradesh Cabinet approved a Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Park in Greater Noida, reported under the name PRAGATI Park.
The numbers
- Size: 69.52 acres
- Jobs: over 1 lakh direct and indirect jobs expected at full scale
- Economic value: about ₹2,000 crore a year in expected economic contribution (Gross Value Added)
These are the state government's projections, as reported by Livemint, The Hindu and ET Government. They are targets for when the park is fully running, not current figures.
Fact check
A post going around on Instagram said UP is "planning" the park. It has in fact moved past planning: the Cabinet formally approved it on 27 October. The size (69.52 acres), the 1 lakh jobs figure and the ₹2,000 crore annual value all match the reports. Exact timelines and investment details have not been widely reported yet.
Why it matters
The park is meant to give India's growing AI and robotics ecosystem a dedicated home near Delhi-NCR, with space for companies, engineers and startups building next-generation technology. In the same meeting, the Cabinet also cleared funds for new link expressways, according to CNBC-TV18.
